The project outcomes will assist the agriculture and agri-food industry in its economic recovery after the pandemic and will enable the industry to grow the Canadian economy in future years. This is a significant project with a number of sub-projects and deliverables included.
To ensure success of all aspects of project delivery, there is a significant requirement for marketing and communications activities as well as engagement of new and existing stakeholders. There is a requirement to connect the project activities with other initiatives within the Council for streamlined communications and operational efficiency. The third requirement is to ensure the project activities are delivered in a way that supports their sustainability post-funding.
CAHRC currently has in-house resources to support development and dissemination of materials as well as managing third-party service providers. These internal resources include a Marketing and Communications Specialist, Stakeholder Engagement Specialist and Project Assistant. There are also supports available from the Executive Director, Program Managers and project teams. There is not currently internal capacity to develop and deliver the volume of marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement work required within the timeframe of the project.
The overall objective of this specific Request for Proposal is to secure a firm that can provide full service strategic marketing and communications services as well as stakeholder engagement support service to ensure the successful delivery of the Growing the Agriculture Workforce of the Future project.
