Description

The HEP Legacy fleet has exceeded its expected performance and investments are required on all systems to keep the fleet in service while maintaining operational efficiency and reliability.
As part of the HEP Repair Program, the project Septa - Structural repairs aims to address Structural repairs on all 16 HEP1 Coach Septa cars.
This project is intended to be awarded to an external Contractor for the production of all the 16 HEP1 Coach Septa.

Note : Related Tenders
A separate Invitation to Tender (202406003-CP - Structural Repairs) is issued for the same type of services. VIA reserves the option to award both projects to the same Contractor.

Event Note

The meeting will be held at VIA Rail Canada - Montreal Maintenance Center (MMC), 201, av Ash, Montréal, Québec, H3K 3K2.
While on the VIA's property, the participants will be required to wear safety hats, ear plugs, safety glasses, reflective apparel (safety vest) and safety boots in accordance with the Railway’s regulations as stated in “Safety Guidelines for Contractors.”
The number of attendees at the site is limited to three (3) per Tenderer.
Please send the dully completed "Confirmation of Non-Mandatory Site Visit" document by email (see page 20 of the ITT) to confirm attendance by July 3, 2024.
The invitation and agenda will be shared to confirmed attendees afterwards.
