Description

This invitation to tender 202109004 will focus on one station of the overall P00024 project, the Stratford Station. VIA Rail hired an engineering firm to provide a complete plans and specifications set to help the tenderers on pricing the scope of works. Mainly, the overall scope is to replace the existing three (3) boilers by two (2) new boilers with piping modifications to optimize the overall heating of the building.

Due to Covid-19, MANDATORY site visit may be split in smaller groups in order to respect the guidelines identified by the respective provincial and federal authorities. The number of attendees at the site is limited to one (1) per Tenderer.
While on the Railway property, you will be required to wear a mask and gloves, safety hat, safety glasses, reflective apparel (safety vest) and safety boots in accordance with the Railway’s regulations as stated in “Safety Guidelines for Contractors.” The potential Tenderers must be present for the Safety Briefing prior to entering the VIA Right-of-Way. Everyone must complete the Health & Safety Questionnaire 2 hours prior to the site visit and present it to the ViaRail Representative.
