SITE TOURS ARE OPTIONAL:
Optional site tours will be available to those Proponents that request one. Due to current restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic Proponents will limit attendees to 1 representative. Only one Proponent at a time will enter the tunnel with a University representative. The date for optional site tours if requested will Monday, October 19, 2020. Proponents will request a site tour by October 15th at 4pm via email to the contact listed in Part A.9 of the RFP. A time slot and meeting location will be communicated by email on October 16th. The tour date and time assigned will not be negotiated. The University will not consider specific time slot requests.

Attendees at the optional site tour must wear Personal Protective Equipment (Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Vest, Safety Boots) as well as a non-medical facial mask. Physical distancing must be practiced at all times.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Proponents are to upload one (1) electronic copy (.pdf format) to MERX. The cover sheet of the proposal will bear the Proponent’s name together with the Project name and number and the words: “Proposal Submission P888-20-143: St. George Campus Tunnel System Structural Remediation” clearly marked.

Proposals shall be uploaded to MERX before 3:00:00 PM November 6, 2020 (the “Submission Deadline”):

The term “local time” shall mean the time as measured by the time clock maintained by MERX.

Each Proponent is responsible for the upload of its Proposal to MERX. Proposals transmitted by email or sent by any other electronic means will not be considered or opened. Proponents will not be able to upload their proposals after the submission deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted via any other means. No exceptions will be made in the case of late delivery - including but not limited to – internet connection problems.
