Description

In issuing this RFSQ document, the University is seeking to shortlist up to five architectural practices for professional services related to the design and construction of the expansion and renovation to the Lash Miller Chemical building. The proposed expansion of the building will be located above the existing one storey volume at the southwest corner of St. George Street and Willcocks Street. The project also proposes to revitalize the existing ground floor classrooms. This RFSQ represents the first part of a two-stage process. Shortlisted Respondents will be invited to submit a response to a subsequent RFP document. At this point, the University is not expecting profiles of joint-venture architects for those firms requiring a local partner. A profile of the sub-consultant team is also not required at this stage.

Respondents are to upload one (1) electronic copy (.pdf format) to MERX. The cover sheet of the RFSQ document will bear the Proponent’s name together with the Project name and number and the words “Proposal Submission P073-20-026: Lash Miller Chemical Building Expansion” clearly marked.

The term “local time” shall mean the time as measured by the time clock maintained by MERX.

Each Proponent is responsible for the upload of its response document to MERX. Proposals transmitted by email or sent by any other electronic means will not be considered or opened. Proponents will not be able to upload their document after the submission deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted via any other means. No exceptions will be made in the case of late delivery - including but not limited to – internet connection problems.
