Description

The University of Toronto is seeking responses to this RFP from qualified Architects for professional services related to the design and construction of the Wilson and Wetmore Halls Upgrades located at New College.
New College wishes to streamline capital improvements within Wetmore Hall (300 Huron Street) and Wilson Hall (40 Willcocks Avenue). This project aims to combine important renovations designed and coordinated by a single consulting team. This project includes four major project areas:
1.   Wetmore Hall lower level accessibility lifts;
2.   Wetmore Hall lower level renovation for new office space;
3.   Wetmore Hall fire alarm replacement; and,
4. Wilson Hall lounge renovation.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Proponents are to upload one (1) electronic copy (.pdf format) to MERX. The cover sheet of the proposal will bear the Proponent's name together with the Project name and number and the words "Proposal Submission P032-19-229: New College Wilson and Wetmore Halls Upgrades" clearly marked. Key components of the proposal are listed in Part E: Submission Requirements.
Proposals shall be uploaded to MERX before 3:00:00 PM on June 3, 2020 (the "Submission Deadline"):
The term "local time" shall mean the time as measured by the time clock maintained by MERX.
Submissions received after the Submission Deadline will not be considered. No exceptions will be made in the case of late delivery - including but not limited to - internet connection problems.
Each Proponent is responsible for the upload of its Proposal to MERX. Proposals transmitted by email or sent by any other electronic means will not be considered.
