Description

The University of Toronto (University) is seeking responses to this RFP from Architects for architectural services related to the design and renovation of the Robert Street Playing Field and Community Area to serve the University and surrounding neighbourhood.
The University plans to revitalize its Robert Street Field, also known as the Aura Lee Playing Field, located north of Sussex Avenue, between Robert Street and Sussex Mews. The field currently includes an ice rink and tennis courts, both of which are unused and in bad repair. A change facility building, dating from 1975, bisects the southern portion the site between the courts and the rink. All existing structures and play surfaces will be demolished as part of this revitalization. The scope of work divides the property into three separate areas, each with its own design considerations.

Proponents are to submit one (1) original, ten (10) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy (.pdf format on disk or USB) of the Proposal in an opaque sealed envelope bearing the Proponent's name and return address, together with the Project name and number and the words "Proposal Submission P118-19-025: Robert Street Playing Field and Community Area" clearly marked. Key components of the proposal are listed in Part E: Submission Requirements.
Proposals shall be delivered to the address noted below before 3:00:00 PM on, June 10, 2019 (the (Submission Deadline):
