Description:
This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of Two-Channel Superconducting Single Photon Detector System, as further described in the RFP.
The University is requesting a multichannel (>= 2 channel) high system quantum efficiency, low dark count noise, high counting rate, and broad operating wavelength range superconducting single photon detection system. The system will be used in the emerging quantum photonics and optoelectronic field to maintain the cutting-edge research of the University.

Duration of Agreement:
The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of two (2) years with an option in favour of the University to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to two (2) years.

At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto may identify one or more suppliers with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.
