Description:
The Biological Sciences Facility (BSF) at the Ramsay Wright Zoological Labs is a multifaceted animal vivarium that supports both research and teaching initiatives at the University of Toronto. The vivarium is undergoing a major renovation. New equipment is essential for the renovation project and operation of the vivarium, thereafter.
 
There is a need to purchase one (1) vacuum/gravity, microcomputer-controlled steam sterilizer for installation and operation.
 
The sterilizers must perform efficient sterilization of cage components, surgical equipment, and other materials. The sterilizers must be equipped with double-doors to serve as a barrier between clean and dirty zones.
 
It is essential that the company that provides the equipment can also provide a prompt response to trouble shooting and on-site support when needed.
