DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Dilution Refrigerator
This Dilution Refrigerator will be the centerpiece of Hong’s lab, providing a millikelvin environment and electrical wiring for measuring his samples. This system will operate without requiring liquid helium, providing a long-term plan for operability despite global pressures driving the price of helium up and limiting the supply of helium gas.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
