The Ontario Educational Communications Authority (hereafter referred to as “the Authority”), conducting business in the Province of Ontario as TVO is seeking submissions for a Digital Audio Mixing Console System for its W. G. Davis Studio Audio Control Room.
The technology is intended to replace the audio board currently used for live and recorded studio production for broadcast. Mandatory and optional requirements of the technology are detailed below.
The studio is located on the ground floor of TVO’s main office located at 2180 Yonge Street in Toronto.
The system will be used primarily to produce TVO’s flagship current affairs show “The Agenda with Steve Paikin”. In addition to providing basic functionality as a subsystem, the proposed technology should be able to function within an IP based ST2110 compliant live production environment as a planned future state of the studio. Additionally, in order to accommodate the transition, it should be able to interface, natively or by means of an adapter, with our current Digico, Digirack I/O frame consisting of various non-controlled analog and AES inputs through MADI interface.
