Description

The TTC requires a two-day, competent scaffold erector training program that addresses both the theory and hands-on, practical application of the following topics:

Scaffold planning.
Load calculations.
Surfaces and foundations.
Bases and components.
Access and egress.
Toeboards and guards.
Bracing, tying, and guying.
Inspection and tagging.
Erection and dismantling techniques.

Training must be conducted at the training provider’s facility within the City of Toronto. Employees may be from various TTC work groups and wage levels. Skill levels may vary.
