Description

The TTC is committed to the health and wellbeing of its employees, and believes strongly in, and is committed to, the best practice principles of Disability Management. This includes the early and safe return to work of employees off due to illness or injury. As part of this process, the TTC utilizes the services of Independent Medical Examinations (IME) to resolve disagreements, provide guidance regarding questions of causation, diagnosis, prognosis and/or treatment options.

In order to fulfil its obligations, including collective agreement obligations, the TTC requires the services of up to three (3) IME providers on an as required basis.

The term of the Contract shall be for three (3) years from the date of Notification of Award, with an option, at TTC’s sole discretion, to renew for up to two (2) one (1) year terms.
