Description

Tri-County Mennonite Homes (TCMH) intends to prequalify five (5) to eight (8) General Contractors for the construction of the Nithview Long-Term Care Home Redevelopment project which is to be tendered in August 2024. The location of the work will be on the vacant land adjacent to the existing Nithview Long- Term Care Home located at 200 Boullee Street, New Hamburg, Ontario. The work will consist of the construction of a new 6-storey, 160-bed long-term care home that is approximately 100,000 sq.ft in area.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Submissions shall include, in the order listed, the following:
a) completed CCDC11-2018; Provide resumes of key personnel to be assigned to the project:
b) WSIB Extended Premium Rate Summary Statement for the last three years;
c) a credit reference letter from their Financial Institution;
d) a letter confirming availability of Bonding capacity for the project’s value range indicated from a recognized Canadian Bonding Institution. Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors will also require bonding to the General Contractor. The project’s anticipated value range is estimated to be from $45 to $50 million.

Items A-D noted above are considered mandatory submissions. Failure to provide the documents as noted may result in disqualification.
