2021-005 - Professional Consulting Service for Compensation & Job Description Review Projec

The Township of Augusta completed a Service Delivery Review during 2020 as part of the Province of Ontario’s Modernization initiative. Two recommendations within the final document are as follows:
• A comprehensive review of position descriptions, roles and responsibilities will identify further opportunities for service delivery improvement
• Review all position descriptions to remove duplication of tasks, clarify responsibilities
As a result of the above, the Township of Augusta is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to identify qualified consulting firms or individuals (the “Consultant”) for the preparation of a Compensation and Job Description Review.
The successful Consultant must have experience in such work including the assessment of compensation levels and a review of job titles and job descriptions, and market comparables. The selected Consultant will be one that has demonstrated experience in the preparation of compensation and job description reviews. The purpose of the RFP is to solicit responses from consultants wishing to be considered for this project to enhance the Township and its delivery of core services.
The goal of this project is to ensure non-union job descriptions are updated to current circumstances and needs, and to ensure that the Township is providing competitive compensation to its employees.
