Description

The TPS is seeking bids from qualified Bidders for Telephone Long Distance (LD) Services within Canada, to the USA and other countries for landline, Primary Rate Interface (PRI), IP based, and toll free services, as applicable, in the following two (2) categories:

Long distance, direct calling Services (i.e. 1-604-XXX-XXXX); and
Inbound toll free 1-800 Services.

The Bidder shall provide LD Services capable of voice (land lines), TTY (teletypewriter) and facsimile calls to any point in Canada, the USA and other international countries.

The Bidder will have to use a Primary Interexchange Carrier (PIC) for the long distance services from the existing PRI’s business telephone numbers to the Bidder’s carrier. TPS will provide all business lines associated with LD Services.
TERM
The term of this Contract is for a five (5) year period commencing upon Award. During the term TPS will not guarantee any volume purchases.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Bidder must have a minimum of ten (10) years of service providing long distance services.

Bidders must provide three (3) references
Copy of security procedures
Copy / proof of Canadian Radio-television and Communications Commission Standing
Copy / proof of Basic International Telecommunications Services (BITS) License
