The original copy is to be clearly marked with the word ‘Original’ and must be delivered to Purchasing Services, 2nd Floor, 40 College Street, Toronto, Ontario M5G 2J3, prior to 1:00:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME on Friday, November 17, 2017 by 1:00pm.

Requirement:
The Toronto Police Service is looking to engage the services of a Certified Professional Accountant - CA to provide forensic accounting services as outlined in this Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The successful candidate(s) will be exposed to varying types of operational activities, related to criminal investigations. Not limited to but including, witness and or suspect interviews, assistance in case preparation, assistance in the preparation of and execution of Provincial or Criminal Code Search Warrants as well as attending court for the purpose of providing testimony. The position may on occasion require some travel given the nature of the investigational requirements.

The successful candidate(s) must be a Certified Professional Accountant - CA with excellent interpersonal skills and possess a strong interest in investigative and forensic accounting, be computer literate in relation to current computer business applications and must also have support staff within his/her home firm to be in the position to review and sign off on the work completed.

The senior manager(s) involved would also be required to be Certified in Financial Forensics for Evidence and Court Purposes by the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants, (AICPA).
