The Toronto Police Service (TPS) is researching innovation in audit management software.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is solely to gather information regarding an audit management software to determine what technologies and solutions are currently available. This will assist the Toronto Police Service (TPS) with execution and project management of audit projects. The software solution must demonstrate capabilities of the built-in functions to streamline all planning, fieldwork, review, approval, reporting, and closeout of all audit project activities while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
The software solution should also demonstrate capabilities for the following:
- Tracking of recommendations and compliance issues;
- Risk assessment;
- Document management;
- Collaboration features;
- Guidelines and checklist creation; and
- Additional tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the audit activities.
The solution should also provide strong security and data safeguard controls to allow for future and continuous enhancements as well as upgrades.
TPS is requesting documentation along with the option for respondents to provide videos, screenshots and other documentation that describe the functionalities of the proposed solution that address the questions outlined in Section 3, and any other value added details that can be provided. TPS may invite respondents to conduct a presentation followed by a demonstration.
This RFI has the following objectives:
- Determine the level of the market;
- Obtain information on potential audit management software solutions and approaches;
- Obtain recommendations that would enhance the success of a potential future procurement opportunity for this initiative; and
- Obtain detailed non-binding cost estimates for budget purposes.
