Description

The Corporation of the Town of Deep River is requesting tender submissions from qualified persons, firms or corporations for the provision of curbside collection services of garbage/solid waste and recyclable materials for the Town of Deep River.
Proposed services will include all or part of the services listed below:

Residential garbage/solid waste and recycling collection;
Commercial garbage/solid waste and recycling collection
Transportation of garbage/solid waste to the Baggs Road Landfill siteTransportation to an approved recycle transfer station or processing center for dual stream blue box recycling. Any and all related tipping fees must be included in the tender pricing. The Contractor shall collect 100% of uncontaminated recyclable items at the curbside and at the recycle depot at the landfill disposal site on Bagg’s Road. There are approximately 70 commercial units, and 1,873 residential units that will receive waste collection services in accordance with this contract.

Sealed tenders labelled with the RFT number 2018-001, must be received by the Town of Deep River, 100 Deep River Road, Deep River, Ontario, K0J 1P0 before Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. local time (the official closing time).
Tenders will be time stamped with the date and time stamp located in the Town of Deep River Municipal Office and shall be the only recognized date and time stamp for the purpose of date and time stamping Tender submissions.
The Municipality shall not be responsible for any tender which is not properly marked and/or delivered to any other location, other than that specified above. The delivery of a tender submission shall be the sole responsibility of the Respondent.
Tenders received after the official closing time will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the respective Respondent.
A public opening will take place at the Deep River Town Hall, 100 Deep River Road, upstairs in the Council Chambers at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday April 26, 2018.
