19-RFT-0103-00B - Student Residence Upgrades, Beatty Hall, Brockville Campus

The intent of the project is to have a qualified general contractor carry out the improvements of various building elements as outlined in the appendices, specifications and drawings, including but not limited to: • Removal and replacement of existing flooring throughout the second storey with the exception of the corridors, which were recently upgraded, and the three (3) service rooms, being Custodial Room (A203), Storage Room A202, and IT Closet (A201). • Repainting of residence and lounge walls, and the interior unit doors and ceilings within these spaces • Construction of a partial height privacy screen in these double occupancy units to separate the sleeping areas. • Lighting improvements including efficiency upgrades. • Bathroom improvements/upgrades • Completion of the work in the upper storey residential wings, while the lower floor area remains operational for summer residents. The lower floor also houses the main office and reception areas (previously renovated).
