22-RFT-0161-00K - Bus Lane Remediation, Kingston Campus

St. Lawrence College, Kingston Campus has a main entrance off of Portsmouth Avenue which services the main parking lot(s) as well as a branch of roadway which leads to the main entrance and is used for City Bus drop-offs and pickups as well as vehicle drop offs. The roadway leading to the main entrance and used for the buses is a one way road. The asphalt pavement and portions of the underlying base have failed and are in need of renewal. The work will commence at the College property line and continue to the bus loading area which was replaced 3 years ago with a concrete pad. A small portion of roadway after the loading area will also be upgraded in this project. This work is considered Phase 1 of a larger project, which is being spread out over 2 years to accommodate budget needs. The second Phase of this project will involve the circular “ring road” which leads to the main parking areas and is not part of this RFT.
