Description

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the Township of South Glengarry (the “Township”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Vehicle Maintenance and Repair – Mobile Mechanic, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

The Township Garage is a licensed repair facility required to maintain the diverse municipal fleet of motorized equipment. A licensed heavy duty/truck and coach mobile mechanic is needed to work out of the Township Garage for a minimum of four (4) hours per day, Monday to Friday. Any mobile work is to be completed on an on-call basis as and when required. The mobile mechanic also oversees work that cannot be completed at the Township Garage and that requires offsite service providers to perform repairs at their facilities.

Quotations must be submitted at the location set out above on or before the Submission Deadline. Quotations submitted after the Submission Deadline will be rejected. Respondents should submit two (2) hard copies of their quotation and one (1) electronic copy on a USB drive in a sealed package. If there is a conflict or inconsistency between the hard copy and the electronic copy of the quotation, the hard copy of the quotation will prevail. Quotations should be prominently marked with the RFQ title and number (see RFQ cover), with the full legal name and return address of the respondent.
