The CIB has an in-house Talent Acquisition team that is at the forefront of shaping the organization’s workforce and culture. The team’s mission is to strategically source, attract and hire top talent that aligns with the organization’s mandate, culture and values. By collaborating closely with various departments, the team gains a deep understanding of unique needs, allowing them to tailor recruitment efforts effectively. Leveraging industry insights and advanced recruitment technologies, they streamline the hiring process, enhancing the candidate experience and reducing time-to-fill positions. Ultimately, the team serves as a vital link between the organization and prospective employees, dedicated to fostering a strong, engaged, and skilled workforce that drives collective success.
While the CIB aims to fill all open requisitions in-house, there are times where external agencies and firms are required. The Talent Acquisition team recognizes the vital role that external agencies can play in efficiently filling roles within the organization. When faced with high-volume hiring demands, such as during periods of rapid growth or seasonal peaks, agencies provide the necessary resources and expertise to effectively manage candidate influxes. Additionally, for unique or niche roles that require specialized skills, external agencies leverage their industry knowledge and connections to identify candidates who might otherwise be overlooked. By partnering with placement agencies, the team enhances its recruitment strategy, ensuring the organization attracts the right talent promptly, even in the most challenging circumstances.
The intent of the current Request for Proposals is to select one or more preferred recruitment agency(ies) (each, a “Vendor of Record”) for various recruitment-related services, including, but not limited to, sourcing talent relating to the above organizational departments (the “Purpose”). When Services (as defined below) are required, the CIB will seek to engage a recruitment agency from the list of Vendors of Record through a simplified competitive process.
