SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
This Contract is for the Safety Watch Services to support various maintenance, shutdowns, and capital project work as required. This includes confined space watch, fire watch, rescue services and Class B attendant (EMR) services at both Cory Cogeneration Station and Chinook Power Station.
Scope of work throughout the contract period will vary as directed by the station site contact. The work is to be performed during routine and shutdown maintenance; however, some work may be emergency in nature and may require immediate response. In addition to Safety Watch Services for confined space monitoring, detection and testing of gas levels may be required. Gases include but not restricted to, Carbon-Monoxide, Lower Explosive Limits, and Oxygen. Station site contact is to advise of Atmospheric Monitor requirements upon call out.
