Laboratory Water Analysis of Drinking and Waste Water

Receipt and analysis of CNL drinking water samples collected from various locations across the CRL site. Analysis of interest include those listed within Ontario’s drinking water guidelines (both radiological and non-radiological).
The maintenance of a Quality Management System (QMS) supported by an ISO:17025, (i.e., Canadian Associated for Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (CALA)) accredited certification, with:
- participation in proficiency testing for the analytical procedures that are employed.
- Staff awareness of their responsibilities in the QMS.
- A scope of accreditation that include analysis methodologies for the parameters identified in this request, following:
  - Non-radiological analysis conducted following the direction outlined in the Municipal/Industrial Strategy for Abatement (MISA) protocol.
  - Radiological analysis conducted following Nationally or Internationally recognized methodologies.
