Canada’s Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) uses Microsoft Project and Project Online to manage on average 120-150 concurrent projects with multiple resources, deliverables, and reports. Projects can be initiated across multiple teams and have different workflows depending on the complexity of the project. Within the organization, Project Online data is seamlessly integrated with multiple other tools including a time tracking tool, Power BI reports and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Microsoft has announced changes to Project Online that will impact our organization in December 2025, and we are seeking to identify a new project portfolio management tool to be implemented ahead of these changes. Through this Phase 1 RFP, CDA-AMC is seeking assessment of business needs and evaluation of current processes which feed into and out of the use of Project Online to identify a preferred new tool which will be implemented in fall 2025. The tool selection and implementation work will be completed through a Phase of the project, which will be informed by the recommendations from this RFP.
