It is the CM’s objective to identify Trade Partners specialized in their field of expertise, that will be permitted to provide bid pricing for the execution and delivery of CM Services to Block 2 in Ottawa, ON.
This notice posted on MERX serves only to advertise the opportunity to respond to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), which is available only on Building Connected. Successful proponents for the RFQ will be invited to the subsequent Request for Tender, which will also be on Building Connected. The package scope involves the decommissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as the abatement of hazardous building materials in support of interior demolition and deconstruction activities at Bate, Birks, Fisher, Marshall, Canada Four Corners and Union buildings. The package scope also includes heritage removal and salvaging work, including architectural elements, masonry and marble. The scope will require the proponent to carry the services of a qualified heritage conservator.
