Description

The SMDHU is seeking the services of a consultant to support the continued work of the Healthy Barrie Initiative - Health Atlas Working Group in the development and evaluation of a Healthy Barrie – Health Atlas Indicator tool. The project is broken into two components:

Component 1 - data analysis, interpretation and reporting
Component 2 – evaluation

The overall goals of the project are to develop, implement and evaluate a Health Atlas Indicator tool that will:

Map indicators and describe aspects relating to neighbourhood characteristics, health outcomes, health behaviours, socio-demographic (social determinants of health), and service utilization across the City of Barrie.
Inform service planning, public policy, and health research in Barrie and
Drive change that leads to healthy people and a healthy community.
