Description

This Request for Proposals is an invitation by Simon Fraser University to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Architect/Prime Consultant Services including services of Sub-Consultants for SFU Daycare Expansion project, as further described in this RFP, at SFU’s Burnaby campus address at 8888 University Drive, Burnaby, BC.

The Architect/Prime Consultant and its sub-consultants (“Sub-Consultants”) will be retained to provide professional services to design, tender and oversee contract administration to project close out. The Architect/Prime Consultant shall provide advice on the evaluation and selection of other specialty consultants to be engaged by the Client. The Prime Consultant shall be responsible for, engaging, managing and coordinating all consultants throughout the Project as necessary.

The Substantial Performance of this project is expected to be completed no later than December 2026.

Please include your company name, date and time of the visit, the names and titles of all individuals attending the tour, and a contact email address and phone number.

The Proponent’s team is to abide by all SFU parking policies.

A pre-proposal session and site visit will be conducted to provide an overview of the Project and the procurement process. Proponents are to send their critical key personnel that will be responsible for running/managing this project/service to this session.

Please note oral responses to any enquiry at the site walk will NOT be deemed to amend, add to or alter this RFP in any way unless issued in the form of a formal written addendum later by SFU. Email all of your questions afterwards to the SFU Main Contact as described in RFP Section 1.2 for answers to be released in addenda.
