SFU has a requirement to provide a vendor-managed supply and service of academic regalia for convocation ceremonies. This work will include but not limited to supply and stock quality regalia, vendor-managed services (online booking and payment), delivery, distribution, collection and on-site staffing.
It is SFU’s intention to award a three year contract with option to renew biennially up to six additional years, for supply and service of academic regalia for convocation ceremonies to Gaspard LP.
An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that SFU intends to award a contract for goods, services, or construction to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no supplier submits a Statement of Capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the submission deadline stated in the ACAN, SFU may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier. If other potential suppliers submit Statements of Capabilities during the posting period, and meet all the requirements set out in this ACAN, SFU may proceed to a Request for Proposal process.
Submission of a Statement of Capabilities
Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to provide the system described in the ACAN, may submit a Statement of Capabilities, in writing to the SFU contact identified in this notice, on or before the submission deadline of this ACAN. The Statement of Capabilities must clearly demonstrate how the supplier meets the minimum essential requirements.
The Statement of Capabilities must be submitted to annyc@sfu.ca .
