Science North is developing a new 20-minute object theatre experience entitled The Climate Barn of Change Agents. Science North requires the services of a software programmer for this project. The lead person from the successful firm will be an integral part of the project team, working closely with the Science North Project Development Team to move the project through critical milestones in the timeline.
The successful firm will supply the necessary personnel, know-how, systems, technology, and all other resources needed to provide the programming services. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the successful firm will provide creative services, technical programming services, and media programming services (as these terms are understood in the industry).
What are Object Theatre Experiences?
Science North’s multimedia attractions (object theatres)are fully automated theatre experiences combining film and video, multiple screens, artifacts and objects, automated lighting, animatronics, lasers and other multi-sensory effects such as scene-setting smells and water effects. These attractions are ideal for telling a story and involving the audience in high impact, participatory and engaging experiences. They provide the opportunity to tackle broad themes and specific messages in a format able to reach audiences of all kinds. They can also be used to showcase museum artifacts and specimens in an exciting and meaningful way.
