Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 2:00 P.M., local time, May 29, 2020.
The Work consists generally of construction of a new paved recreation trail complete with aggregate base and subbase and where required: clearing and grubbing, concrete curb and gutter, reinforced concrete sidewalk, random rip rap, a precast concrete catch basin, sluice box and PVC storm sewer, HDPE culvert pipe, line painting, signage, and site restoration consisting of lawns and asphalt reinstatement.
Particular Specifications may be obtained from Dillon Consulting Limited, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST). NOTE: The Dillon offices are currently closed to visitors. To obtain the tender documents and be registered on the bidders list please call 506-633-5000 or email mcorbett@dillon.ca . Original tender documents will be issued in hard copy via courier and an electronic copy of the tender package will be provided by email.
A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of St. Stephen, in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Total Tender Price (including HST) must accompany each Tender.
Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.
Tenders will be opened publicly at the Town Office as soon after the Tender Closing as possible. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, visitors will not be permitted to attend the tender closing in person. A web link will be provided to all bidders via email prior to the tender closing so that the tender closing can be viewed remotely. The Town of St. Stephen reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
