Due to the present COVID-19 pandemic, it has been required to modify the Normal Tendering Procedures as follows:
Instruction To Obtain Tender Documents:
Bid Documents may be obtained for a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 per set. Interested bidders shall contact Trina Young at trina.young@nbse.ca or 506-875-1070 to make arrangements to pick up the Tender Documents.
Tender Submission Method:
Contractors are required to submit their Tender Submission (Complete Bid) in PDF Format via e-mail to david.crandall@nbse.ca prior to the above stated date and time. Original Tender Submission shall be delivered by 2:00 pm May 15, 2020 to the SERSC Main Scale House at the following address:

Tender Opening Method:
Tenders will not be opened in-person. Immediately following the close of the tendering period, the opening committee will review all submissions and prepare a summary report that will be made available to all Bidders via e-mail.
No award will be made at the tender opening. Tender procedures will be in accordance with the Crown Construction Act, Regulation 82-109 amended.
In general, the work consists of excavation and disposal of till material, supply and placement of gravels and asphaltic concrete for the entrance road and parking lot, electrical lighting, curb & gutter and sidewalks for the SERSC Office Building. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tender amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Labour and Materials Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each in the amount of 50% of the Bid
Price.
The lowest or any offer will not necessarily be accepted.
