The Community and Social Services (CSS) Minister intends to identify, select and tender up to two qualified external Human Resources (HR) consultants to assist in CSS agency recruitment. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible to assist ministry staff and selection panels with recruitment for membership on the ministry's public agencies to ensure the panel is able to recommend suitable, qualified members for appointment by the Minister to these agencies. Services include the screening, interviewing and checking of references for applicants, compiling accurate and timely reports, and providing general human resource expertise to the board selection panels.
Although recruitment typically occurs annually, recruitment to some vacancies occurs on an "as needed" basis throughout the year. As a result, the time frame in which the work of each of the selection panels is completed may vary.
