Description

Scope of Work
1. Remove all current siding and stucco as well as flashings and trim/moldings from building and partition walls. Dispose of all materials as work is taking place.
2. Temporarily remove lighting/electrical fixtures and salvage for installation upon completion.
3. Ensure wall sheathing is in good condition with no decay. Repair all deficient wall sheathing.
4. Install new Type 1 Air/Vapour Barrier on building to code.
5. Install new strapping 16” O.C. (400mm). Strapping must be minimum 3/4” (19 mm).
6. Install strapping (vertically and anchored to wall studs). Horizontally for partition walls(if necessary).
7. Install New KWP Naturetech Prefinished Engineered(or equivalent) trim, flashings, and starter strip to Manufacturer’s Specifications. Colours to be chosen by BDSHA at a later date.
8. Install KWP Naturetech Prefinished Engineered Wood Siding-Laurentian 8-1/2” Profile (or equivalent) to manufacturers specifications on building. On Partitions, Install New KWP Provincial Vertical Double 5” Siding profile(or equivalent). Colour(s) to be chosen by BDSHA at a later date.
9. Upon completion, install all salvaged lighting/electrical fixtures.
10. Ensure care is taken to protect lawn and landscaping.
