Request for the provision of security guard services at the Vimy Ridge National Historic Site of Canada and the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial National Historic Site in France.

The contract will be for a period of (6) six months (to commence on 01 July 2014, or date of award), with options to renew for up to (4) four additional one year periods.

To be considered responsive, the Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed personnel have the appropriate level of training, and/or related work experience that will enable them to perform their duties, specifically, personnel must have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar security environment and be in possession of a certificate or licence reflecting that they have completed security training with a professionally recognized agency.

A trainonton, AB, with periodic travel throughout Alberta and Yellowknife, NT. Requirements are in accordance with the Statement of Work detailed in the Invitation To Tender Document in Annex A.

The initial requirement is for a 24 month period with two (2) additional 12 month option periods.

EVALUATION PROCEDURES Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation.

An evaluation team composed of representatives of Canada will evaluate the bids.

BASIS OF SELECTION A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive.

The responsive bid with the highest combined rating of technical merit (60%) and price (40%) will be recommended for contract award.

DEBRIEFINGS After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process.

Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.

The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
