TRADE AGREEMENTS:
On May 28, 2012, the Government of Canada announced on the Government Electronic Tendering Service that it had invoked the National Security Exception under the trade agreements in respect of procurements related to email, networks and data centers for Shared Services Canada. As a result, this requirement is subject to the National Security Exception.
REQUIREMENT:
Shared Services Canada on behalf of its client, Treasury Board Secretariat, has a requirement for the provision of a commercially available Engage software.

If other potential suppliers submit substantiated statements of capabilities during the fifteen calendar day posting period that meet the requirements set out in the ACAN, the government will evaluate those statements and, if validated, may proceed to a full tendering process on either the government's electronic tendering service or through traditional means, in order to award the contract.
If no other supplier submits, on or before the closing date, a statement of capabilities meeting the requirements set out in the ACAN, a contract will be awarded to the pre-selected supplier. The contract may include provisions for software licenses including associated software maintenance and support services;
