1) A bidders' conference will be held at Yellowknife, NT, on January 20, 2015. The conference will be at 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, C-Dry Boardroom, Giant Mine Site, Yellowknife, NT. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered.
It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative.

***************************************************************** ****** Bidders are hereby informed that the requirements of the Tlicho Land Claim and Self Government Agreement will apply to this procurement. The benefits that apply are contained in: Chapter 26, the Tlicho Land Claim and Self Government Agreement, clauses 26.3, 26.3.1 (a).
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to retain the services of a Contractor in the capacity of Construction Manager for the provision of Management Services and the completion of General Contractor (GC) Work for an estimated 3 work packages at Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
The Construction Manager Management Services to be provided include, but are not limited to, advice throughout the project, scope and quality control and coordination of communications and meetings.
The Construction Manager General Contractor Services includes, but is not limited to, the C-Shaft demolition, C1 pit buttress construction, and site wide power upgrade with the potential optional work which may encompass demolition, mechanical/electrical or civil works projects, as more fully described in the Terms of Reference (ToR). The contract will commence at contract award and is to be completed by 31 March 2016, if only the original work packages are completed.
When an optional service is added to the contract, the contract completion date will be adjusted incrementally in accordance with the revised schedule.
