Addendum #1 - December 23, 2024
Only qualified Contractors will be considered for award of this Contract. In order to be considered qualified; the Contractor shall have been successfully pre-qualified under Prequalification No. P22-43, or refresher P23-53, Category "A" to submit a Proposal for the Work of this Contract. This opportunity has been posted to NBON as requested by subcontractors and suppliers so that they can be prepared should any qualified Contractors request their support.

Sealed Proposals in envelopes signed by an authorized representative of the respective Proponent and marked "THE CITY OF FREDERICTON PROPOSAL NO. P25-15 SANITARY SEWER TRUNK", shall be deposited into the Tender Box and accepted by the Office of the Purchasing Division, City Hall, 397 Queen Street, Fredericton, NB E3B 1B5 until 3:00:00 p.m. local time Tuesday, January 21, 2025. In addition to the Proposal number and title of Work, the following information shall also be written legibly on the
outside of the sealed envelope:
1) full legal name of the Proponent;
2) return address of the Proponent; and,
3) the Closing Date and time.
Alternatively, Proposals may be delivered to the City's Purchasing Division via e-mail at bids@fredericton.ca. This e-mail address is exclusively for the submission of Proposals, Proposal amendments, and signed Addenda. Proposals delivered via e-mail must include the Proposal number and title of the Work in the subject line of the e-mail. The body of the e-mail must also include the full legal name of the Proponent, the return address of the Proponent, and the Closing Date and time.
The proposed Work includes the installation of sanitary sewer trunk mains, sanitary sewer force mains, managing of existing sanitary sewer flows, reinstatement, and environmental protection.
Each Proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cheque in lieu thereof in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price (including H.S.T.). Subject to the Contract Documents, the successful Proponent shall be required to provide Performance Guarantees as specified in the RFP Documents and in compliance with the Construction Remedies Act S.N.B. 2020, c. 29.
