Description

The City of New Westminster invites tenders for the Uptown Plaza and Sixth Street Public Realm Improvements project in New Westminster, BC.

The work generally consists of streetscape and public realm improvements along Sixth Street between Sixth Avenue and Belmont Street, plaza construction on Belmont Street adjacent to Sixth Street, and bus stop construction between Princess Street and Sixth Avenue.
Work includes, but is not limited to:

Roadway paving
Concrete curb, sidewalk and letdowns
Importing and placing granular materials
Signage and pavement markings
Street lighting and electrical
Irrigation
Structural soil and soil cells
Drainage works and green infrastructure
Landscaping and plantings
Tree protection and management
Supply and installation of furnishings
