206477 - RFPQ No. 2024-405 for Architectural Services

The Board of Education of School District No. 35 (Langley) (“SD35”) invites responses from architectural firms to prequalify for projects arising through October 31, 2027.

This RFPQ is intended to invite qualified and capable Respondents who are interested in and who have the expertise, demonstrated experience, resources and knowledge to perform the aforementioned Services for the design of school facilities in the District. Based on the review of the RFPQ Responses, The Board of Education of School District No.35 (Langley) intends to establish source “List” of up to 5 (five) qualified architectural firms who, on an “as, if and when requested” basis, may be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into a Contract(s) for the provision of the services.

The Services to be provided by the Architects may include, but will not be limited to: preparation and/or reviewing existing conceptual drawings provided by the District, public consultation meetings, letters of assurance, coordination of sub consultants and authorities having jurisdiction, detailed design drawings, production of tender documents, cost estimates, recommendations, construction and as-built drawings and, project close-out. Expanded Services such as building design, geotechnical assessments and amenity design may also be required.
