Description

Ontario Health is seeking expressions of interest from clinical geneticists for the position of Provincial Head, Provincial Genetics Program.

As part of the Ministry of Health’s initiative to modernize the health care system, Ontario Health established the Provincial Genetics Program (PGP) to ensure the provision of comprehensive, coordinated, evidence-based genetic services for Ontarians. This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership to the evolution of the Ontario health system as we work to drive quality, accountability, and innovation. This program will provide oversight/administration for comprehensive genetic services for the people of Ontario, including genetic testing for rare and inherited disease, hereditary cancer, tumour biomarkers, and clinical genetic services. This opportunity is open to all qualified candidates.
