EM/ANB INC. ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
EM/ANB Inc. (EM/ANB), a Part III organization, is responsible for planning and managing the Extra-Mural Program (EMP) and Ambulance New Brunswick (ANB). Together, these services ensure that home healthcare services and ambulance services are delivered according to established policies.
EM/ANB has contracted Medavie Health Services New Brunswick (MHSNB), a subsidiary of Medavie Health Services, to ensure delivery of these services under a long-term contract. Medavie Health Services is a subsidiary of Medavie Inc. As management contractor, MHSNB will be managing and scoring this RFP on EM/ANB's behalf.
SCOPE OF WORK
In issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP), EM/ANB is soliciting proposals from qualified proponents for the provision of Home Oxygen services across all regions of New Brunswick under the New Brunswick Extra Mural Program as outlined in section A5.
It is EM/ANB's intention to enter into an agreement with one (1) single legal entity. In the event that proponents wish to enter into a joint venture with another entity, EM/ANB would contract with only one (1) primary proponent who agrees to assume full legal responsibility for the venture and performance of the contract.
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of five (5) years, with an option in favor of EM/ANB to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of five (5) years.
Proponents must present a solution that can deliver the components of the program as described in section A5. The proponent must provide a comprehensive and detailed plan that outlines the approach and methodology for transitioning or enhancing home oxygen services to meet patient needs.
The solution must be scalable to accommodate program growth and enhancements over the duration of the agreement.
Proponents will be subject to regular quarterly performance evaluations through a supplier scorecard system. The scorecard will assess various performance metrics, including response time, service quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
The volumes outlined in this RFP are estimates only and are subject to change. EM/ANB does not guarantee these projected volumes, or any minimum volumes, and cannot be held liable for any variance in projected volumes provided and actual usage. EM/ANB reserves the right to contract for similar services from other providers or internally.
