NPP 06-03-2024 - NPP 06-03-2024 Lube Oil Purifier System Replacement

British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. (“BC Ferries”, “BCF”) anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation (“RFQ”) in the coming weeks that identifies a business opportunity for the successful Proponent(s) to submit Quotations for the installation of lube oil purifiers on the Queen of Cowichan (the “Vessel”).
The MV Queen of Cowichan, classified as a Major Vessel and currently operating out of Departure Bay on Route 2, from Departure Bay to Horseshoe Bay, will be undertaking an afloat maintenance project as part of the refit program to ensure the vessel’s desired level of reliability while in operations from November 19 to December 11, 2024.
BC Ferries anticipates a Vessel visit that is expected to take place on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 0905 hours Pacific Time, which is the Vessel’s sailing departure time. Proponents should plan to board accordingly and should arrive at Horseshoe Bay terminal by 0830 hours Pacific Time.
The purpose of the Vessel visit is to allow all the Proponents familiarize themselves with the site specific conditions for providing an accurate quotation for the installation of the lube oil purifiers
