188570 - Indigenous Learning Solutions

The City of North Vancouver is requesting responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Indigenous learning solutions. These Services are required on an “as per need” basis and will only be required based upon the discretion of the City of North Vancouver. 

The scope of work is to include a range of Indigenous learning solutions to help build the Indigenous relations and Indigenous cultural competency of City employees, the leadership team and City Council. Learning offerings will comprise foundational and specialized courses that will enhance participant’s knowledge of Indigenous Peoples history, culture and contemporary Indigenous issues, and will support development of skills that are essential to build collaborative relationships, respectfully communicate and engage in consultation with Indigenous people and communities. Responses to this Request for Qualifications should include options to deliver training content as part of a series of courses, and as stand alone sessions.

We thank all those who are interested in this process. In order to ensure we are centering the perspectives of Indigenous people in this process, the City’s preference would be that Indigenous consultants and Indigenous organizations apply. This is to ensure that space is held for lived experience, and Indigenous voices are upheld in this process.
