Description

THE CERTIFIED ADVANCED SECURITY TRAINING (AST) INSTRUCTORS MUST HAVE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AS FOLLOWS:

MUST BE AN APPROVED AST INSTRUCTOR WITH THE JUSTICE INSTITUTE OF BC (JIBC),
MUST MEET ALL FACILITATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AS STIPULATED BY THE JIBC,
MUST PROVIDE ALL TRAINING LOCALLY (WITHIN THE LOWER MAINLAND),
MUST PROVIDE APPROPRIATE AND SAFE TRAINING SPACE AND ALL REQUIRED MATERIALS,
MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE CONTINUAL TRAINING FROM NOVEMBER 2023 THROUGH TO MARCH 2024 IN ORDER TO FACILITATE TRAINING OF UP TO 500 PEOPLE (THE HEALTH AUTHORITIES DO NOT GARAUNTEE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS)

MUST BE WILLING TO COORDINATE WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE HEALTH AUTHORITY'S AND THEIR PARTNERS AND BE FLEXIBLE AND ADAPTABLE WITH PARTICIPANT SCHEDULING.
