Description

The Ministry intends to qualify Bidders for a multi-vendor, enterprise-wide Vendor of Record arrangement (“VOR”) for Security Guard Services. This VOR will be for a period of five years for use by the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and made available to non-OPS entities on an optional basis. The Ministry intends to conduct annual refreshes where additional potential vendors may qualify to be on the VOR.
Scope of Work
Vendors will be required to provide Security Guard Services as further defined in the Vendor of Record arrangement (“VOR”) for various locations across the province.

Vendors are to provide licensed guards, including French fluent guards as may be requested to monitor and protect assets, provide crowd control, and ensure entrants to facilities/properties. Security guards are expected to provide an authoritative yet courteous presence in addition to providing reliable security services on their assignments.

Security guards and Vendors are expected to operate in full compliance of, but not limited to, the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005 (PSISA).

The Optional Information Session will take place via a “Teams Meeting Invite" which will be sent to you once you have registered.

Any questions related to the Deliverables will not be answered during the Optional Information Session. Bidders are requested to submit their questions relating to the Deliverables in writing. Please email: Jainstien.Dookie@supplyontario.ca.

The responses to all questions received by the Bidder’s deadline for questions will be posted on Jaggaer as an addendum to this RFB as per the schedule outlined in section 1.1.14.
