POLAR is accountable for efficiently managing real property assets. In addressing this mandate, POLAR undertakes evaluations of its real property inventory and has a need for a Level 2 (L2) Building Condition Report with detailed technical and financial information to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) UNIFORMAT II – E1557-09 (R2020), Level 4 for the CHARS base buildings and for base building systems which impact laboratory systems/equipment to be developed. This RFP details the Required Services necessary to deliver a Building Condition Report (BCR) and related studies, including Legionella Assessments, Seismic Screening, Facility Condition Index (FCI) Scenario Analysis, and Thermography Assessments, over a 25-year life cycle, for five (5) buildings noted in 1.2.3.2, for Polar Knowledge Canada at the Canadian High Arctic Research Station (CHARS) in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut.
