Description

Barrhead and District Social Housing Association is a Housing Management Body as defined in the Alberta Housing Act. The main office is located at 4321 52nd Avenue, Barrhead, Alberta within Hillcrest Lodge.

In 2019, BDSHA began construction of a new 70-unit addition. The project was finally complete in the fall of 2022. During the construction process BDSHA sacrificed a large amount of accessible greenspace.

Several years ago, a gracious donation was gifted to the organization by late resident and Friend, Evelyn Menzies. Using these donated funds, BDSHA shall construct new greenspaces that may be enjoyed by seniors and their families for many years to come.
