Due to unforeseen requirements from the provincial elevator inspection department, regarding the requirements for elevator pit floor drains, we have to cancel completely this tender. We will have to evaluate how we will proceed with the rest of the planned work.
MODERNIZATION OF ELEVATOR CONTROLS
TENDER CALL 2023-035
The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present an offer for performing modifications on the elevator controls.
Tender documents regarding this contract may be obtained only at the Development Department, located on the 2nd floor of Edmundston City Hall, by email at plan@edmundston.ca or by calling 506-739-2125.

The latest revision and amendments of the Regulation 2014-93 of the Procurement Act (O.C.2014-273), apply to this tender.
The latest revision and amendments of the Regulations of the Crown Construction Contract Act, as amended, apply to this contract (Regulation 82-109).
A Bid Bond or a Certified Cheque in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price or a Certified Cheque in the amount of 20% of the accepted tender price. Tenders will have to be signed and the name, address and phone number of the tenderer will also have to be indicated.
Sealed tenders indicating the name and address of the bidder on the envelope marked "MODERNIZATION OF ELEVATOR CONTROLS, TENDER CALL 2023-035, MARCH 2, 2023" will be received by the Municipality of Edmundston on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the reception desk of City Hall, 7 Canada Road, Edmundston, NB, by mail or e-mail until 2:00 p.m. (local time).
Public opening of tenders will follow immediately and will be also on Facebook live on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ville.edmundston.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
